Greetings from Iran
(Although I am not orignally from Iran I was born somewhere else not telling where though )
Well here is my community project from around the world. I chose Iran where my ancestors are from mainly in. I used two girls and they are wearing the basic shawls and clothings viewing the gorgeous places and sceneries there being tourists, Tehran is the Capital of Iran a beautiful city with lovely streets and sights to see. When it comes to Persians not all persians that you see on tv cover their face also if you didn't know they use cell phones too I made them seem like they are viewing things that could be anything and enjoying a peaceful walk about. In the background is a shadow of one mosque which if you didn't know is a church that Muslims pray in that is filled with beautiful art work pieces that sometimes date back b.c and the tower on the other side of the postcard is the "freedom tower" Like the Statue of Liberty is our monument, I believe is called Fact about it:Tehran most famous architectural symbol is the Azadi "Liberty"Monument in Azadi Square. It was constructed in 1971 as part of Mohammad Reza Sha celebrations to commemorate 2,500 years of Persian monarchy and was hence named the Shahyad Tower. It was given its current name after the 1979 revolution which saw all indications of the former regime stripped from streets of the city.The 50m tower, clad entirely in cut marble, is said to combine Islamic architecture and the earlier Sassanid style. Situated near Mehrabad Airport, it was the first sight to welcome visitors to Tehran for many years.
With also the flag of Iran waveing just above the sign in the middle is "Allah" meaning God. I tried to make it a bit artsy cause Persian paintings are filled with color or at least interesting designs. I hope this is good.
